Give a Dog a Home Rescue is a volunteer based, non-profit charity located in the rural town of Sebec, Piscataquis County in Maine. We have a brick and mortar kennel building and currently a very small foster-base.

Our goal as a rescue is to not just save lives, but also to enrich ALL lives. By working to continue & expand our integration of the rescue & local communities we can give a very much needed  mutual  benefit to animals and humans alike.

The tables below shows programs we have up and running. Programs we would like to have up and running and also areas and skill-sets we are in need of to maximize as much of what the rescue can offer, and needs, to truly impact our animals and our communities.

SKILL SETS Needed - These are just some areas in where we would love to have teams of volunteers, either working individually on ideas, or setting up committee's to work on a bigger scale to make a bigger impact. Professionals would be amazing, but also young people, or anyone needing to beef up their resume or skills
