|
CONRY was saved from Fort Worth Animal Shelter in Texas. He was transported from Texas to Sebec, Maine and arrived at the rescue on 12th August 2015.
CONRY is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, lepto vaccine, de-wormed, heart-worm tested negative and micro-chipped. He has an estimated date of birth of 10 September 2014 and at the time of rescue he weighed around 56 pounds.
CONRY is a big, hairy bundle of love and energy, it is like he has springs on his feet, he jumps and prances and runs and is just so happy to be alive. He plays great with the other dog, if he is too much for a little dog, he will back off and go and find a bigger dog to roll around, chase and wrestle with. He is always smiling and truly is beaming so much happiness. We believe that he is an Irish Wolf-hound / Tibetan Terrier mix.
CONRY will benefit from an active family that has lots of time and energy to share with this handsome boy. He would love to go on lots of adventures, be able to run and jump around. He is great with children, although he does jump up when he is excited and so this would be something he would definitely need immediate work on. We do not have cats in the rescue and so cannot comment on how he is with them.
CONRY, as with all dogs will benefit from basic and advanced obedience he is very smart and responsive and think he would pick things up very quickly.
CONRY is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350.

The rescue is located in Sebec, Maine, 04481 and we do prefer if families can travel up to meet the dog before taking them home to start their new lives, however, we do understand that this is not always possible and will work with you in finding suitable transport to get them to you. This may come at an additional cost to the adopter
