BONITA was saved from Dallas Animal Services, a High Kill shelter in Texas on 27th July 2015 where she was then transferred to the rescue in Sebec, Maine.

BONITA is a small terrier mix, she has an estimated date of birth of 24th June 2014 and weighed around 10.80 pounds. BONITA is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, lepto vaccine, HW tested Negative, de-wormed and micro-chipped.

BONITA is a sweet, cute, affectionate, playful, energetic lovebug. She seems to love anyone that she meets, she wants to be cuddled, but then likes to run around and play. She gets on great with dogs her own size, but is also not intimidated by larger dogs and shares a kennel with a 40 pound terrier and they play together most of the day.

BONITA is hoping to find a family that can give her all the love and attention that she deserves. That will cuddle with her whilst watching TV, but still be active enough to take her for great exploring walks, runs, hikes and of course lots of playtime.

BONITA will benefit from some basic and obedience training as with all new dogs to establish boundaries and expectations from both humans and dog. We do not have cats in the rescue so I do not know how she is with cats.
