MICKY was saved from San Antonio Animal Care Services on 16th May 2015.

MICKY is a happy confident young boy who has no problems being amongst a lot of dogs, be they small terriers, puppies or the large German Shepherd Dogs. He was at first wary of me, but I think that was more of being in shelter and then to the rescue and not really knowing what was going on.

MICKY is confident and he is affectionate. At the moment he is happy playing with the other dogs and has not shown much interest in toys, but I'm sure in a much smaller group or with his own family he will be more interested.

MICKY would be suited to a family that is familiar with the smaller size dogs. He is active and would love to go on walks, hikes and any dog activity / sport. MICKY will need basic and advanced obedience training which is best if this is done by all family members so that boundaries, expectations and learning each others body language and personalities

MICKY is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed and tested NEGATIVE for heart-worm disease. MICKY has an estimated date of birth of 13 May 2013 and at the time of rescue weighed 17 pounds.

MICKY is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $300.
