ORION was saved from San Antonio Animal Care Services, before he was set to be killed. He was picked up as a stray in San Antonio.

ORION is a very sweet boy, when I brought him back to the rescue he was not concerned at all the dogs barking and want to sniff him, he totally took it all in his stride, adult German Shepherd Dogs and the small terriers, he wasn't phased at all.

ORION walks ok on a leash and he is well mannered, he hasn't jumped up much at all and is happy to go an be amongst the pack or hang out beside me.

ORION would be best suited to a family that is familiar with small breed dogs and understands their requirements. ORION is confident and  is responsive and I believe with correct guidance he would be easy to train and as with all dogs would benefit and enjoy basic and advanced obedience.

ORION is neutered, rabies, core vaccines,  de-wormed and microchipped. He has an estimated date of birth of 8 May 2011 and at the time of rescue weighed 15.30 pounds.

ORION did test positive for heartworm disease but treatment is scheduled for w/c 18th May 2015.

ORION is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $300.

ORION is currently located in TEXAS, however, we use PETS LLC to transport our adopted dogs to meet up with their families along the east coast. Their transport fee is $175 and is paid directly to them. This fee is in addition to the adoption fee.
