LUCAS was saved from Dallas Animal Services Kill Shelter.

He is a gently, quiet boy who likes to be close to his human. When he first came into the rescue he did try to be a little dominant, but did not pursue when the other dogs paid no attention.

LUCAS would be great with a fairly active family that can take him on long walks/hikes or runs and let him experience all the wonderful sights, smells and sounds of the world. As with all new dogs, obedience is always important to set boundaries and to enable family and dog to learn about each other and what is expected of them.

LUCAS is neutered, rabies, up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heart-worm tested and weighs around 75 pounds. He has an estimated date of birth of December 2011.

LUCAS is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350.
