|
SHANNON was a stray that was picked up and taken to Dodd's Animal Hospital. A plea went out from our good friends and rescue, Ordinary Miracles Canine Rescue and GaDaH stepped up to take them in.
SHANNON initially was very nervous at the rescue, but settled in quickly and her true bubbly, happy, energetic, bouncy personality came out.
SHANNON LOVES to play, she acts like her feet are on springs as she is always bouncing all over and playing with either pups or adults. SHANNON is great with people of all ages, she is extremely affectionate and loving, and with her energy, gentle nature and happy personality she would make a great addition to any family.
SHANNON has been spayed, core vaccines, rabies, micro-chipped, she test negative for HW disease, and Ehrilichia (tick disease).
SHANNONs adoption donation is $200.
GaDaH does allow out of state adoptions, however, we do require the family to travel to San Antonio to meet and spend time with MIDNIGHT to be sure personalities are a good match, before traveling home together.
SHANNON was named in honour and memory of an amazing man, William Messner wonderful GSD, "SHANNON" R.I.P who lost the fight to Degenerative Myelopathy and then dedicated his life to working to find a cure for this horrendous disease.
William started a foundation, and spoke on over 400 blogs in some 24 different languages, he leaves a legacy and is truly missed.
We would hope that whoever is lucky enough to adopt SHANNON, would honour the memory and keep her name.
