STEPHIE was saved from Montgomery County Shelter. She was flown to the rescue through the Pilots n Paws network. She was very scared and seemed not to like dogs too much.

A complete turn around, STEPHIE is fun loving, loves to run, chase and play with the other dogs, she will bark if someone goes past the front ... along with the other dogs.

It is apparent that she has been abused, and she is scared when I sweep or mop the floor, if she had been beaten with items like those it wouldn't surprise me from her reaction.

STEPHIE would love a home with at least one other dog to play with, she would love an active family, but one that understands that she has had a bad past, and will be willing to work with her on the human side of things.

GaDaH does allow out of state adoptions, however, we do require the family to travel to San Antonio to spend time with the dog to be sure personalities area good fit.

If all is good then they would all travel home together as a family.
