BRITA was saved from GARLAND Kill Shelter with her mum and sibling DUCHESS. Both pups aged at approx 4 months were still feeding off their very under-nourished mum.

BRITA was quite fearful when she first came to the rescue, but living amongst the pack, she has quickly become more confident. She is still very attached to her mum, but is happy to play with the other dogs and pups.

BRITA did go on a two-week foster period, but came back after a week as she had had a snotty nose, I had explained this was the stress from being away from her mum and the pack, and possibly the weather, but the family was not comfortable. She had been back at the pack for less than 8 hours and her nose had cleared up.

She is very active and playful, she will need another dog as she is so bonded with her mum ZELDA, I feel she would get depressed. She has now had her two shots (11 Dec) and will need to have her 3rd and be in for 2 weeks after before she is safe to go anywhere that there are lots of dogs.
