LIZZIE was saved from Animal Care Services, San Antonio, Kill Shelter with her two siblings.
She was very noisy at first, but when she settled in and grew comfortable with the other dogs/puppies and me, she has been a treasure. LIZZIE is very affectionate, but also likes to play with the other pups and older dogs.
LIZZIE is going to need a family that has the time to spend with her, and teach her rights and wrongs, GSDs bond very closely with their family and must be treated as one of the family. Ideally LIZZIE would not be the only dog, since dogs are pack animals, they do best when there are more than one of them, however, if a family is active and has plenty of time, love and affection then she will do just fine.
LIZZIE, as all GSDs is going to be very intelligent, she will be easy to train, as she is willing and eager to please, however, the basic sit, down and stay will not be enough - GSDs have a great mind (think of all the jobs these dogs can do) and so she will not only need physical exercise, but mental exercise too. Games, hide and seek, puzzles anything where she has to use her mind, and if it involves lots of interatcion with humans and/or other dogs this would be perfect.
LIZZIE's adoption donation is $250, however, if she was adopted with her sibling, or another GaDaH dog/puppy, then a $50 discount per dog will be applied. This will of course only happen if the family is sure they can afford the expense of two amazing dogs.

LIZZIE along with her sister, JACKIE are two gorgeous, well behaved, loving, playful young dogs.
They have stunning looks, walk well on a leash, play well together and with other dogs. They have an interest in cats, but more, just to smell not to cause any harm.
LIZZIE is a love bug, she wants nothing more than to be close by you, she will step over the other dogs to get to be close. She doesn't really like being on her own, but then she has lived with lots of other dogs since she was a small puppy and came to the rescue.
