|
BITSY is current on her core vaccines, de-wormed, monthly preventatives and microchipped. She has a date of birth of 1 April 2020 and weighs around 2 pounds. She is currently too young for spay surgery and we recommend her rabies vaccine when she is closer to 6 months.
BITSY is a lively, larger than life little pup, she is at the age where she wants to investigate everything and loves to bounce around playing and getting up to mischief. She does use pee-pads to do her business, however, house training so she learns to let you know she wants to go outside is going to be needed.
Although she is a small dog, we are looking for a family that does go out on walks and will take her on adventures. She would be a good lap dog, when she has had all her playtime and walks and released her lively puppy energy.
She is going to need to be trained, basic obedience and manners at a minimum, although we do expect families to give constant training and mental stimulation throughout her life to keep her happy mentally and physically.
We have not seen Bitsy around cats, livestock or children, so we expect families to take precautions when introducing her to new things. Her personality does not leave any concern as to her not being friendly with children, as long as they give her space, respect her and not treat her like their toy!
Bisty has been fed Open Nature Puppy Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe along with Rachel Ray Peak Peak wet food.
BITSY is available for adoption from Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue, located in Sebec, Maine for an adoption fee of $550. Families MUST travel to the rescue in Sebec, Maine for meet and greet at time of adoption
